The BSE Group

BSE (UK) Ltd is a member of the BSE group of companies. BSE operates in several western European locations: UK, Ireland, France, Benelux, Spain and Portugal. We are solution providers for many types of TEST applications for electronic production and development.

Our group headquarters is located in France and has been introducing, selling and supporting products in the French electronics market since 1984.  We specialise in the high technology fields of automated test equipment, automated microelectronics assembly equipment and component supply.

The first international BSE office was opened in Breda, Netherlands in 1997. This was followed in 1998 with the launch of BSE (UK) Ltd, based in Alton, Hampshire, England, to cover the territories of the UK and Ireland. In the UK we supply:

• Boundary Scan test and in-system programming solutions from Göpel
• Automatic Optical Inspection and Test systems from Göpel
• Automatic die placement machines from Häcker
• Automatic wire bonding machines from Hesse & Knipps
• High end automatic dispensing machines from Häcker  
• Hermetic package sealing solutions from Benchmark

We also operate an applications and training facility in the UK. We are able to assist our customers with training at all levels, generating test and assembly applications and carrying out applications support activities such as BSDL file verification and generation.

Internationally, BSE has installed more than 2000 test systems in the maintenance / repair sector and over 300 cable testers. However, its most notable success to date is in the arena of in-circuit test systems. Pioneers in "flying probe" fixtureless test, we are recognised as leaders in educating industry and promoting this valuable test technique. BSE is responsible for over 100 installations throughout France, Belgium and Spain.

This success has created the need for a high-performance technical team giving us a unique competence in our core technologies, spread across several countries of Europe.  This strength is a essential asset in view of the demands of the electronics industry in terms of support and service.
